Chi Alpha (XA)
What We Are Doing
Chi Alpha Campus Ministry is a movement of students at ISU and around the world. We believe that Jesus is God, that He died for our sins, rose from the grave, that we could have eternal life, and that our lives can mean something more through Him. This all comes from and through His grace that is unmerited and cannot be repaid, however, we now live our lives through Jesus and for Jesus, believing that He is the only source of true life. We believe that life and faith are better together in community and that our lives can make a greater impact as we live authentically for Him with one another, living life on mission!
We believe good friends and good community are important. We love to hang out, road trip, have adventures together, and live life in authentic ways. Our gatherings include sharing from the Bible, worship, Bible studies, retreats, mission trips, and so much more! Get to know more about our national movement, visit chialpha.com

Mike & Nikki
McPeak
Director
Mike and Nikki met in college and have been serving as the ISU XA directors since 2017. They love community and opening their home to students. They’re passionate about discipleship and seeing students step out in their faith and become world changers.
Rylee & Ricky
Colapietro
Rylee grew up in a household that did not know Jesus. When Rylee found Jesus He radically transformed her life. Coming from Colorado to Idaho State she got involved in Chi Alpha and found a community to grow with and go on mission with. Rylee loves having deep conversations around a cup of coffee. Rylee and Ricky met at ISU and got married in 2023.
Dan
Waltner
Get ready to be encouraged and empowered when you’re around Dan. He grew up in a Christian house but never fully engaged in his faith and was ready to disengage from it when he came to college. That was until his roommate (a XA Cell Group leader) prayed for and invited Dan consistently to Chi Alpha. After getting involved Dan encountered Jesus and has never been the same. He wants others to have the same encounter he had.
Josh & Cedar
Lemrick
Josh loves seeing guys grow in faith and passion for Jesus! Josh started his adventure in Chi Alpha at CSI in Twin Falls, after transfering he got plugged right in and started having deep talks with everyone around him. Him and Cedar were married in 2022 and just had their first daughter, Rose! They both love international students and having them in their home.
AJ & Alyssa
Seyer
AJ and Alyssa met and were married in Montana where they got to know each other in Chi Alpha at Montana Tech. They love the outdoors and their fun, spunky daughter Natalie. Mostly, they are passionate about seeing students know Jesus, walk in the fullness of His gifts and become disciples that make disciples.
Sarah
Senner
Growing up on the mission field, Sarah has always had a passion for Jesus and for Him to be known where she is! This came through during her time at ISU in her Theatre program while she had many talks with friends about Jesus. Sarah has the heart of an evangelist and believes in the power of prayer. She is someone to glean from the goodness of God.
Kyla & Aiden
Brost
Kyla and Aiden love adventure, especially hitting slopes covered in snow. More than that they love to worship God! Find Kyla playing keyboard as she leads you into God’s presence and Aiden is right there tapping his toes and signing along.
